Shedeur Sanders & Co. brawl over EA Sports ratings! This week, EA Sports unveiled the player ratings for their upcoming College Football 25 video game. While some Colorado Buffaloes players were happy with their scores, others weren’t shy about voicing their disapproval.

Now, the good news for Buffs fans is their star quarterback Shedeur Sanders secured the coveted top spot among QBs with a solid 93 overall rating. He’s tied with Georgia’s Carson Beck, but hey, a tie for first ain’t bad, right? Well, it’s not so according to Shedeur.

On July 17th, Reach The People Media captured the reactions of Buffs stars to their recent EA Sports ratings while panning around the Buffs training zone. Shedeur first chimed in, saying, “I’m the highest quarterback.” He added, “They try to tie but even in the time number one. But it’s no tie bro. It ain’t a tie, bro!” The QB echoed this sentiment earlier during the Buffs media day, saying, “I’m not a tie guy…it’s either one or two.”

But Shedeur wasn’t the only Buff feeling a bit slighted. Wide receiver Drelon Miller expressed disappointment with his 69 overall rating, considering he was a highly-rated 4-star recruit. Cornerback Kam Mikell also chimed in, feeling his 72 overall rating didn’t reflect his on-field talent, especially considering his blazing speed (clocking a 40-yard dash in a blistering 10.5 seconds last year).

It seems like the locker room is buzzing with discontent over EA Sports’ evaluations. While there might be one or two happy players with their ratings, the overall vibe is one of disappointment.

What’s your perspective on:

Are EA Sports' ratings for Shedeur Sanders a joke, or do they have a point?

Have an interesting take?

However, one Buff might be secretly thrilled by the ratings.

Travis crushes the ratings while Shedeur Sanders shares the throne

While Shedeur Sanders remains the EA Sports’ top quarterback with a strong #17 overall ranking, Buffs’ two-way phenom Travis Hunter surpasses him! Hunter boasts a massive 95 overall rating, skyrocketing to #6 in the entire game and nabbing the coveted #1 wide receiver spot. No surprise there, considering Hunter even landed a coveted spot on the game’s cover art this May alongside RB Donovan Edwards and QB Quinn Ewers. The dude’s a superstar!

While Hunter hasn’t officially commented on his ratings, he’s clearly pumped about the game. He’s been streaming it on Twitch and even throwing a launch party this weekend, giving away copies to lucky fans. Sounds like all is good between Hunter and EA Sports. But his head coach, well, Coach Prime might have a different opinion. He believes Hunter deserves even more recognition. During a recent interview with the NFL, he confidently declared, “Travis should be a 99, shouldn’t he?” Coach Prime went on to emphasize that Hunter’s dual-threat abilities are unmatched: “There’s nobody called the best receiver and the best corner in college football!”

Last season, despite injuries, Hunter managed to snag 3 interceptions and 30 tackles on defense while racking up 57 catches on offense. Looking at those stats, it’s hard to argue with Deion.
