In the wake of Texas A&M University firing its HC Jimbo Fisher, sports analyst, and former Lions QB Dan Orlovsky has put Deion Sanders’ name up for the golden opportunity. There’s a strong debate revolving around the same. While Coach Prime has proven to be a transformative force for the struggling Colorado side, their strong start is now being plagued with some serious playing deficits.

While Prime has declined a move to the NFL many times, coaching a different NCAA team might still be in the cards for him. With his great coaching prowess, Sanders would be the ideal candidate to join Texas A&M. But, Jason Whitlock, another popular analyst has taken potshots against Sanders and invited some heated debate contrasting Orlovsky’s opinion.

The sports world was rocked when Texas A&M University dropped a bombshell, revealing the dismissal of Head Coach Jimbo Fisher last Sunday. With the coaching position left vacant, the university made headlines by unveiling a staggering $76 million contract for the next head coach.

Several pundits were of the view that Deion Sanders could take on the role. However, the potential move faced staunch opposition from an expected source—Colorado’s outspoken critic, Jason Whitlock. Venturing onto platform X, Whitlock launched a scathing attack against Sanders, injecting a dose of controversy into the unfolding narrative.

Sharing tweets on the social media platform, Whitlock highlighted that Deion’s move would be considered “dishonest”. Whitlock has never missed a chance to degrade Prime Time, but this time his opinions are receiving strong logical criticism from fans. While the Buffs won’t be able to make it to LA Bowl this year, compared to last year they are in a much better position now. The question becomes though: will the $76 million offer motivate Deion to change sides?
