Jim Nagy, the CEO or the Executive Director of the Senior Bowl, took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, and namedropped every major coach of the NFL that came to spectate the legendary game. He wrote, “Reese’s Senior Bowl practice is where the football world comes together. Appreciate everyone who made the trip this year!” The video that he posted featured coaches from all over the NFL and saw faces like Nick Saban, Kalen DeBoer, Hugh Freeze, Mike Tomlin, Jerry Jones, Steve Sarkisian, etc. While several players improved their Draft chances, the WR for the Michigan Wolverines ended up making a big name for himself.
Michigan WR Roman Wilson increased his draft stock massively
The fates of football have been rather kind to the Michigan Wolverines lately. In the 2023 season, they went 15-0 with an undefeated streak before finally winning the CFP national championship game against Washington as well. Their former HC Jim Harbaugh ended up moving to the NFL with the LA Chargers and will now be in pursuit of the Super Bowl. With so many blessings in disguise, the Senior Bowl ended up polishing their WR Roman Wilson in a new light.

📈No receiver boosted their draft stock more at @seniorbowl than Michigan's Roman Wilson.

Justin Melo of the Draft Network had a lot of words to say about Roman Wilson’s athletic prowess. He said, “Wilson possesses the inside-outside versatility necessary to play the “Z” or the slot. Michigan asked Wilson to run the complete route tree, and he responded by handling everything thrown at him. He’s especially a sharp processor with well-developed spatial awareness when facing zone coverage. Wilson places the cherry on top of his skill set with secure, reliable hands at the catch point. Any pass-happy offense would benefit from adding Wilson in April’s 2024 NFL Draft.” Thus, the Senior Bowl has helped out this youngster a lot as he tries to make it big in the NFL Draft that is going to take place on 25th April.
