Shedeur Sanders, QB for the Colorado Buffaloes, is not being liked by the fans for his antic in the past Sunday’s game. The 21-year-old is one of the favorite QBs in the league and the pride of the Buffaloes. He’s been giving consistently exceptional performances throughout all the games and yet, his recent move towards a rival team comes across as unsportsmanlike.
Sanders is a talented player no doubt but it is yet to see whether he will be able to prove himself against the harsh pressures of the league and soon enough, lead his team to a championship. Though after the Buffs’ last match, Shedeur and his brother, Deion Sanders Jr., won’t be on the nice side of the fans for quite some time now.

The Colorado Buffaloes faced off against the Arizona State Sun Devils on the 8th of October,2023 and they managed to upstage the rival team by a score of 24-27. All the while in the game, the Arizona fans kept chanting “overrated” towards Shedeur who didn’t take too kindly to the hate. After their win, he immediately rushed toward the Arizona fans’ area and started flexing his $70,000 watch as a symbol of superiority.
It was UGLY, but Good Win.

This move was immediately disliked by NFL fans as they believed that the move was not a part of a sportsman’s humble personality. Furthermore, his brother, Deion Sanders Jr. added to the fire with a repeated question. He pointed his phone towards the crowd and kept asking, “What happened? What happened?” His insinuating mockery wasn’t well received by the fans who later trolled him on his social media.

Coach Prime’s severe criticism of his team’s performance
In the post-match conference, Deion Sanders took no time to share his thoughts on his team’s performance. In his words, he said, “Wonderful win, played like hot garbage. Sick of it. I’m trying to figure this out because I’m sick of it. I’m happy with the win but I’m not happy with the fashion of the win. We’re better than that.” Sanders talked about how the match was too close to comfort as they were only able to defeat Arizona by a mere 3-point difference. In the previous game, the Buffs lost to the USC Trojans and the Oregon Ducks. Despite having meetings, discussions, and endless practices, he hasn’t seen major changes in the way the team performs which is crucial if they wish to go all the way this season.
