The Michigan Wolverines are celebrating their latest victory against the Ohio State Buckeyes as they triumphed 30-24 in ‘The Game’. And while the Nov. 5 game will remain an important date to every Michigan player, it is a particularly special day for star running back Blake Corum who not only made a statement in the last game but also celebrated his birthday with this major victory. Corum recounted how the coach and his fellow players hyped him up before the games. Apparently, Coach Moore would always say “smash” and their TE would scream in his special style. Blake Corum credited Barner for hyping the play saying, “You have AJ Barner over there screaming in his Triple H voice, ‘It’s time to play the game’ and that gets me hyped up.”

Corum also said that these things stimulate him to perform better. It’s a significant game day for Corum who celebrated his 23rd birthday by completing the game with 88 yards and two touchdowns while QB JJ McCarthy secured 148 yards and a touchdown.

Offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore, who is replacing head coach Jim Harbaugh for the fourth time this season, told JJ McCarthy before the game, “In critical situations, I’m going to out the ball in your hands.” The star QB went 16 for 20 in the last game. With 25 seconds left, Rod Moore made an interception leading to a final 30-24 win over the Buckeyes.
