Deion Sanders’ ally, IsmokeHiphop, is here to decode yet another conspiracy that has questioned the loyalty and integrity of the Colorado Buffaloes program. The origin of the conspiracy is a resurfaced video that claims some of the Buffaloes players are gambling with money involved. 

Given the strained transfer season and the blame game that Buffs transfer Cormani McClain got involved in, he has become a soft target for anything bad in Boulder. This instance was no exception. But what stood out, in this case, was IsmokeHiphop’s defense of McClain since he had exposed the player and his mother last month. 

Buffs video scandal ends up in IsmokeHiphop defending McClain

On May 25, a video claiming to show former and current Buffaloes players gambling at the Champions Center resurfaced. A man appearing to be Cormani McClain is seen with another man shooting dice on the floor and pool tables. Since the player speculated to be McClain is wearing a grey practice jersey, the timeline is aligned with a date right before the start of the 2023 season. It is at this crucial moment IsmokeHiphop decided to barge in. According to one of the greatest supporters of Deion Sanders, “So they’re right there just trying to find any reasons to pin anything on Deion Sanders. I don’t even like what Corman did against Deion Sanders but I will defend him in the same aspects as saying that why would you try to ruin that man career?”

He confidently placed his take that it won’t be Cormani since it will be a risky move considering the position he is now, “I don’t think it’ll be Corman because that affects him no matter what university he goes to so we can scratch that out.” IsmokeHiphop places his opinion on the belief that the video quality is grainy; hence, it is impossible to identify the players. “Let’s get this facts corrected you see a video circling around there that popped out of nowhere that’s referencing 2013. We’re in 2024,” he further said. Wondering why IsmokeHiphop is supporting McClain?

When Cormani McClain announced hitting the transfer portal, instead of going through a silent transformation, the cornerback made much noise by pulling Deion Sanders into the dirt. He and his mother, Kaishay, united in badmouthing Coach Prime and his program. It struck IsmokeHiphop, who then chose to expose the mother-son duo. 

ESPN analyst Adam Rittenberg claimed that McClain is taking his time to choose the right program. Multiple programs have already approached him, and his mother re-tweeted the news, sharing her gratitude for the programs that reached out to her son. Amidst this, IsmokeHiphop gave out the real scenario on his YouTube channel as he spoke, “Let’s talk truth right now. You don’t have a selected team that you have preference over. You lost that privilege to be the one selecting.” Putting Cormani’s whimsical nature in the forefront, he commented, “I’m keeping it real. You have several universities that had interest in you, not the other way round like you get to be the one selecting these… you’ve been exposed to the world.”

The authenticity of the video is yet to be confirmed by the sources. Meanwhile, as Cormani McClain starts his journey with the Florida Gators, it is time to see whether IsmokeHiphop’s comment on his support will melt the ice between the two.
