Shedeur Sanders has endured some of the most hits and sacks in the 2023 season. To cut one of his best players some slack, Deion Sanders has passed some clear-cut instructions to the players practicing at the Folsom field. “Do not touch the quarterback,” Sanders asserted.

Well, Sanders has endured the most amount of hits and sacks in his collegiate QB career, with him being the first player to be sacked 30 times in the first six games since Idaho’s Matt Linehan in 2014, per ESPN stats. Speaking of hits, Shedeur has absorbed the most hits (93) of any FBS quarterback through six games in the past five seasons.

The QB is on his way to tying the FBS single-season record for being sacked at 60, which is currently owned by Pitt’s Tino Sunseri in 2011.
