Another sizzle in the never-ending allegations against Deion Sanders. Remember the time when Colorado made waves with their first-of-its-kind ‘Black and Gold’ Spring game in April? The weekend was a never-seen-before glitz in the Boulder campus. From fashion shows to music concerts; it had everything. Even a concert from their starting QB Shedeur Sanders with a five-time Grammy award winner, Lil Wayne. The same concert that Deion Sanders allegedly “mandated” for all the CU players to attend.

CFB Talk Daily exposed the veil of Sanders, stating in their tweet that “Sanders reportedly made it mandatory for Colorado players to attend the ‘Prime Weekend Little Wayne concert’.” For some Colorado players, however, attending the concert meant much more than just a mandate. The same tweet also claimed that it was “the final straw for a few Colorado transfers,” since Sanders reportedly threatened to dismiss whoever didn’t support Shedeur Sanders.

Deion Sanders almost instantly took to his X handle on Friday to debunk the accusation against him. “This is one of the best lies I’ve heard. God bless u and I pray u sleep well tonight because we are. Lawd JESUS,” Prime tweeted. Jon the Liquidator, a famous YouTuber, also went on the defensive, proudly claiming on his YouTube video that Sanders did no such thing and that the concert was actually “sold out.” The ticket prices are proof of all the hype that surrounded Lil Wayne and Shedeur’s concert as they were initially priced at $48, but due to increased demand, some of them were sold for as much as $170.

“I know for a fact is a lie because I was there in Boulder, Colorado, at the time of the concert and one thing I can tell you guys for sure is that players couldn’t even get tickets to the concert because the concert was sold out. For you to sit up here and spread this nonsense, it’s ridiculous now,” Jon the Liquidator claimed in his video. And it was not just him who claimed so. Deion Sanders Jr. too was up in arms after the accusation.

Deion Sanders Jr. was equally enraged when he heard the accusation for the first time. Taking to his Well Off Media Forever page on Instagram, Buckey wrote, “[B]ro this is hilarious. They basically said he forcing people to listen to his son’s mixtapes. Dawg this is next-level funny.” The claims of Jon the Liquidator and Sanders Jr. both make Deion Sanders’ end heavy. Plus, the actual concert that went very well just adds to their credibility.

As promised, the Black and Gold weekend was a big hit and Lil Wayne did not disappoint one bit. To add to it all came the chance of listening to the music skills of Shedeur Sanders, who has been teasing the fans with the release of his single ‘Perfect Timing’ for a long time. Yet, when Shedeur took the mic to sing his ‘Perfect Timing’ as the opening song in the concert, it was a pleasant surprise for the fans.
