College football is full of exceptional players, and the top ones are competing to be the best. All to win the Heisman Trophy. Only the most outstanding player in college football wins the trophy once a year. Among some of the top teams comes the USC Trojans. And their offensive mastermind, Head Coach Lincoln Riley, broke down the rivalry between two major players.
Caleb Williams, the quarterback of the USC Trojans, and Michael Penix Jr. of the Washington Huskies are two major rivals for the Heisman Trophy. HC Riley would, of course, want his QB to win, but then again, he had something to say about the Huskies QB, Penix.

The USC Trojans and the Washington Huskies are currently the top two teams in college football competing to win the Heisman Trophy. Williams and Penix are the two best quarterbacks in the country, whose rivalry for the Pac-12 positioning will be extremely engaging to witness. Not to mention, the conference championship game is less than a month away!
Riley has good opinions about Washington and their QB, and it was proved when he stated, “The quarterback has a really good command of what they’re doing, and you can tell he and their staff are really in sync. He’s really decisive with the ball.” Now, that is a huge compliment for Penix, coming from the offensive guru of the USC Trojans.
Currently, between the two quarterbacks, Williams and Penix, it is Michael Penix Jr who leading ahead. He has a total yards passing of 2,945. On the other hand, Caleb Williams ranks second with 2,646 yards passing. The highest Heisman passing of 25 touchdowns has not been shaken by anyone till now. But there is Penix with a record of 24, just one behind. Lincoln Riley still has a lot of faith in the Trojans and spoke about this opportunity he does not want to miss.

Trojan’s golden opportunity
According to Lincoln Riley, the USC Trojans now have a chance to win the Heisman Trophy, and they just simply need to take it. Trojan’s matches against the Huskies, Oregon, and UCLA will decide the team’s standing in the wide-open conference. The Trojans will have to continue with their high-level performance to earn a Pac-12 positioning.
“You’ve got to bounce back and not miss these opportunities that are right here in front of our faces, and man, do we have a golden one right here,” said the Trojans HC, Riley. Who do you think will be the winner of the Heisman Trophy?
