Michigan Wolverines are on a rampage this season. They’ve got a clean state thus far, having won every single game throughout the NCAA season.  After all the controversies and sign-stealing allegations that have hampered the side, they still find ways to win on the field. This might just be the season where they win the NCAA title.

Their triumphs show the character, mindset, and winning atmosphere within the core group of players. Michigan Wolverines are a strong side and they continue to dominate the proceedings in the current season. However, there’s one missing piece in the jigsaw puzzle, they’re without the services of Jim Harbaugh at the helm.

Well, the question begs though, is he actually needed now that the players seem to be performing under the interim coach Sherrone Moore? Will the Michigan management part ways with Harbaugh post this season or does the coach have one last hurrah with the team?

Showing solidarity for suspended HC Jim Harbaugh

Ever since the Big 10 conference came down hard on Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines, the world has changed a lot for the football team. The players have stood in solidarity with the HC and started a trend on platform X “Michigan vs. Everyone”. It went viral and even Tom Brady joined in with his stand on the same. There’s no shortage of support with the players also saying that they stand with the HC.

Recently, Fox Sports College Insider Bruce Feldman even stated that the situation has galvanized the program. During the recent episode, he highlighted, “It’s Michigan versus all the powers of the Big Ten. It’s Michigan versus its own conference commissioner Tony Petitti. It felt like, on the Michigan sideline [at Penn State] that it was Michigan against the Big Ten refs.”

As per Feldman, he could feel the tension in the air and cited that all was not well within the management and the Big 10. There’s now a more resolute Michigan outfit that’s treating each game as a response to the sign-stealing allegations and making their hatred felt all over. Irrespective of the HC Jim Harbaugh by their side, the team won three games on the trot, including their biggest rivalry game against the Ohio Buckeyes.

Michigan’s hat-trick of wins could mean Harbaugh axing?

For the Wolverines, they may now be moving forward to an era without Jim Harbaugh. The players, Moore, and the management have made peace with the controversial suspension. They’ve now moved on from the three-match ban and ushered into a new era. The same players that now draw inspiration from the axed coach and take his lessons into the games going forward. Dominant victories against Penn State, Maryland, and Ohio State have been enough to give an assessment of the side.

It’s fair to say that one of the best-performing teams this season could part ways with Jim Harbaugh. The HC who was once a QB for this side back in 1986, who holds a deep association with the players might be on his way to somewhere else. Harbaugh now has the chance to perhaps go back to the NFL teams and resume his coaching duties. It’d be emotional for the players and even Jim himself to say goodbye to the team he coached for nearly 9 years! Will Harbaugh be willing to leave for the NFL or still stay at Ann Arbor?

My opinion: Jim Harbaugh will move to the NFL

In my opinion, Jim Harbaugh is more than likely to move for the NFL. Year after year the rumors have been circulating that the HC might leave the NCAA and go to the NFL, only for it to be not true. However, personally, I reckon this time it might be different. Coach Harbaugh has had his fair share of controversies this year and also faced a suspension. For someone who’s faced such stern actions, the time is right to move across.

I believe that Harbaugh will reinvent himself as one of the NFL’s coaches. Moreover, he was made for the top league and shared his trade for a long time during his NFL coaching tenure. He might have stuck to the NCAA given that he himself was a player for Michigan, but now I think he might seek NFL opportunities. With controversy marring his image, Harbaugh would go on to coach the better teams in the senior competition.

One more reason I strongly think that he’ll go to the NFL since the world there is oblivious to what’s transpiring at Ann Arbor. They simply don’t see the HC in any other light and don’t have any biases based on him. Therefore, it might just be the perfect opportunity to head for the NFL.

Whether it comes true or not, there is certainly no doubt that if he Harbaugh does end up moving to the NFL, he will be a revolution there as well.
