Travis Hunter is back from his laceration injury and looking on course to continue with his terrific form. He has outstanding numbers in the season with 137 receptions in just around 1750 yards. However, he has often been mocked for his manners and on-field performances.
Moreover, there are some grave issues of bullying associated with the wide receiver. Recently, one of the leading college football anchors also got in the act and went on bullying the rookie player. His offensive words came in after Colorado was unable to grab another win in the running NCAA season. It was looking like the game for CU Buffs against Stanford, however, the Cardinals came back from behind to hand a beating to Deion Sanders’ side. The bullying rattled the Colorado star as he wasn?t one bit impressed by the anchor?s words.

As per the analysts discussing the game, the bullying was coming from the opposition?s end. It was largely because of Elic Ayomanor, the Stanford Cardinals wide receiver. He had a game to remember and made a school record for his exploits.
Ayomanor completed almost 300 yards and accounted for three touchdowns with 13 receptions. People are of the view that the bullying took place because of one WR edging past the other for their performances. There was more bad news to follow for Hunter as he was penalized by the officiating members.

For Travis, his return to the gridiron against Stanford wasn?t all rosy. The player got involved in much controversy against the dominant side. During the terrific comeback, there was a moment that caught the eyes of officiating members. As he was going for his 24-yard spin and run, the youngster celebrated his goal with a unique celebration.
He tied his hand behind his back as he collapsed in a prayer position. This wasn?t taken lightly by the judges and Hunter was then penalized. He was called out for his celebration for ?unsportsmanlike conduct?. As per the NCAA rules, unsportsmanlike conduct includes things such as taunting and screaming obscenities, cursing the officials in a loud and abusive manner, leaping to feet, beating chest, showboats to the crowd, and exchanging ?high-fives? with the fans.

Since there are no rules for collapsing on the ground with hands tied, fans believed that officiating authorities were a bit harsh on the player. Though, bullying is a complete no-go zone in any facet of the game. The fact that it came against Travis Hunter even after performing exceptionally well should be taken up by the authorities. Hopefully, such things aren?t encouraged in the next set of games.
