The final game between the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Michigan State Spartans saw one of the most devastating blowout records. Penn State defeated Michigan State 42-0 to end the regular season games with 10-2 ranking third in the Big Ten. But even so, fans feel concerned as Penn State star LB Abdul Carter leaves the game in the second half after what seemed to be an injury.

Penn State wins a consecutive Land-Grant Trophy against MSU, a rivalry that has been since 1993 where the two programs would meet annually. In the last game, the Nittany Lions defense shone as they sacked MSU QB Katin Houser and created pressure on their offense. The victory has given Penn State a strong chance to make a bowl appearance.
