Patrick Mahomes in a Buffs commercial—Is this the boost Colorado needs to dominate college football?

The Colorado Buffs are in the rain sporting orange and white uniforms! That’s just a teaser. Buffs Nation, be patient as excitement is about to unfurl as Deion Sanders’ collaboration with Boost Mobile paves the way for many Buffs players’ dreams to come true. We’re talking about an upcoming Boost Mobile commercial!

For several players, this is their first experience shooting a commercial, which reminds us that not many college football players get a chance to star in a commercial. But with Coach Prime as a magnet for fame and marketability, he’s giving his players a chance to share the spotlight as they beamed with excitement over the event. And, hey! Is that Patrick Mahomes amidst the Buffs? A doppelgänger?

Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes is known for a lot of things and his hair is one of those things. Known as the Mahomes Mohawk Fade, this signature hairstyle has influenced many fans, including this particular Buffs player, who sports a similar hairstyle. As Darius Sanders teased fans about the upcoming commercial on his Reach The People Media vlog on July 11, the camera panned toward a player with Mahomes’ haircut.

Teases ran through the air with remarks from Darius Sanders like “Is that Pat Mahomes?” and “It’s Pat Mahomes.” He joined in the fun and responded, “I made it in the commercial. Y’all see my last commercial? I don’t even know.” He ended with a laugh. But it’s true, this is going to be some of the Buffs players’ third commercial. Rigorous training, strict discipline, and constant lessons. These aren’t the only things that define the Buffaloes as preparation for the upcoming season isn’t the only thing going on in Colorado. Under Coach Prime, Colorado launched an NIL collective called the 5430 Alliance in March to equally distribute NIL opportunities for the Buffs players.

Deion Sanders has already dropped hints on the commercial on June 28 when he talked to the players who are to star in the commercial. In that particular IG video, he captioned, “Can you believe for Some of them this is their 3rd commercial! WOW. Look at God. They always got my back & they know I got theirs. Thank You Guys!” We can’t help but appreciate Deion Sanders for giving these young men exposure and a chance to live their dreams.
