“Painful Truth Is Far Better Than a Comforting Lie”: Deion Sanders Drops Another Cryptic Message Amid Accusations of Forcing Colorado Players

However, disarming his detractors with his charm is also something Deion Sanders has mastered. Hence, when Corder bluntly claimed that Prime had “made it mandatory” for some Colorado transfers to attend the Shedeur Sanders’ opening performance at the Lil Wayne concert in the ‘Prime’ Spring game weekend in April. He had “reportedly threatened to dismiss anyone who skipped out,” Deion Sanders had to come up with a message to leave them baffled.

“A painful truth is far better than a comforting lie. A lie don’t care who tells it but the truth is hard to tell because it is not normal, it don’t carry the same weight or travel as fast as a lie does. The truth will set you free and a lie will keep you in bondage,” Deion Sanders tweeted, preaching to all those who were pointing their finger at him. The message comes off as a sequel to the original tweet Prime posted in his defense against the accusation.

Deion Sanders was not having any false claims made against him as he instantly took to his X handle on Friday evening to disparage the claim. “This is one of the best lies I’ve heard,” Prime wrote, indicating the claim to be a “lie“. And it is not only Prime who is claiming so. His children have also jumped to defend him from the negative spotlight.

Daughter Deiondra defends Deion Sanders

The soon-to-be mama Deiondra Sanders was not letting the detractors talk loudly as she sternly shut them up on her social media. Taking to her Instagram stories, Deiondra Sanders posted the sequel tweet that Deion Sanders shared. “A painful truth is far better than a comforting lie,” the post of WorldStar that Deiondra Sanders shared on her IG story read.

Deion Sanders Jr, the ‘social media’ guy at Colorado too, could not handle the accusation against his father. Sanders Jr. also stood up for Prime on his X when the allegations started intensifying, writing, “When the hate don’t work they start telling lies.” This tweet too, referred to the claims made as ‘lies’, similar to the two tweets of Deion Sanders.

Several other analysts like ISmokeHipHop had Prime’s back as they straight up called the claims “ridiculous“. With the support flowing from across social media and from several analysts, Deion Sanders has once again dismissed the accusations swirling against him.
