Deion Sanders must be a caring dad, but not too caring to spoon-feed his sons! The father of five has a net worth of $45 million. Yet the Buffs HC wants his sons to build their own empire by putting them through a grindstone. Now that Shilo and his brother Shedeur are often attacked for being the inheritors of the nepo-niche, on the DNVR Sports podcast, the Buffs safety spilled the beans. Their father might be rich, but to his sons, he is the master of the closed wallet technique as he acts “cheap”. On the other hand, Deion Sanders runs a tight ship at home.

The Sanders have a huge haters army. Every now and then they come up with caustic jabs, especially at Shedeur and Shilo, prompted by their misconception of them carrying the millionaire legacy and reaping fortune out of their dad’s money. But that’s surely not the case. On the podcast, Shilo unveils the backstage antics of Deion’s parenthood manifesto. “Me and Shedeur, you can say oh y’all money this money that y’all dad bro, we don’t think like that,” Shilo cut through the confusion. The Buffs then released a truth missile, “Our dad is cheap he don’t give us no money, and it’s just like if we want a certain lifestyle we got to make it happen for ourselves so we out there grinding.”

And they definitely have made their father proud. Ever since, Shedeur stepped into college football, it did not take the QB much time to climb the superstar status. On June 8, the Buffs “Grown” passer became the nation’s top earner with a $4.6 million NIL valuation. With this, Shedeur has heisted sponsorship treasures like Mercedes-Benz, Google, Gatorade, and others.

Shilo too worked hard and amassed an impressive NIL valuation of $1.1 million bagging big brands like Porsche and KFC, among others. All credit to Deion Sanders and his tough-love approach.

Deion Sanders and his no-nonsense parenting

It has been tough for the Buffs HC, but he surely did well. He kept his kids away from affluence and passed them through stages of rigorous guidance. Back in February, Deion joined Matt McChesney on the Zero 2 Sixty podcast on BLEAV Network. There he gave a rundown on his parenting ABC’s. “I’m harder on them than I’m probably on everyone else because I know the expectation. I don’t expect them to be the best, but I expect them to give me their best and that’s our deal. That’s been our deal from day one,” stated the strict father.

Earlier in another interview, Deion’s firstborn, Deion Jr., brought forward a fact that was contrary to what the haters believed. The Well Off Media tycoon revealed, “Regardless of what people think, my dad ain’t giving nothing to nobody. You gotta go make a name for yourself.”
