With a QB room already brimming with talent, including Caleb Williams, JJ McCarthy, etc., Quinn Ewers has declined NFL draft this year. However, with Ewers returning to Texas for his senior year, Manning may be barred from taking the field for a second year. In a recent interview, CFB Insider shared his guidance, on how the player can make use of his time while being on the bench, “Everything I heard is Texas likes Arch Manning but you know he had a lot of area to grow in terms of consistency. I think this is a really good thing for Arch Manning, to sit for another year and keep developing”

Ewers had already given hints about being a part of the NFL Draft but changed his plans last minute to continue with his journey in the NCAA. As a result of this, Manning now serves as a backup role despite being hailed as the top recruit. However, Manning being sidelined on the field did not have any impact on his NIL rankings as he maintains his position within the top 5.
