Deion Sanders dropped the biggest bombshell regarding the Colorado Buffaloes ahead of their last match against the Utah Utes. The 56-year-old coach has been one of the most established coaches in the NCAA, despite this being his debut season with the Buffs. Though he hasn’t had the best record with the team, the fans will cherish him as the season draws to a close.

The Colorado Buffaloes currently have a poor record of 4-7. They started off with a bang when they held on to a 3-0 winning streak, but witnessed their downfall soon after. Coach Prime’s team has lost all of its past five games and will be looking to exit the league gracefully with a win against Utah. But Deion’s latest announcement has left the Buffs’ fans without a lot of hope for a win.

Deion Sanders talks about Shedeur’s health ahead of the Ohio match

Coach Prime recently released a statement about Shedeur’s health after being injured in the last match against Washington. The fans have been curious as to how the 21-year-old has been faring physically after taking several hits during the match.

He said, “Shedeur is not feeling well right now. It is a day-by-day situation with Shedeur. We’re hoping and praying he will be able to play.” Thus, while the Buffaloes’ last match of the season draws near, the Buffs will be playing without their star quarterback, and that couldn’t mean well for the team. The Colorado Buffaloes will be facing off against Utah this coming Sunday, but it seems as if Coach Prime himself has been unwell after their Washington game.

Deion’s health hasn’t been great of late

During the post-match conference after the Washington loss, Deion seemed to be at a loss for words. Not because he didn’t have anything to say but because of his deteriorating health due to a severe headache.

Coach Prime gave an update on his health when he said, “Been under the weather tremendously. By the grace of God, I made it through the last game. We played like I felt.” Thus, while the team prepares for their last game under the guidance of Coach Prime, the fans will wish for a speedy recovery for both the father-son duo so they can muster all their strength to fight their last battle.
