The daughter posted the video on her official account and captioned it with, “Leave your legacy. On September 7, “Saban Field” will be introduced at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Beyond proud.” The first three words are a sign that Saban will be remembered for all that he did for the program rather than his physical presence as the stadium will engulf all those who come under the HC’s legacy. In the entire span of 17 years in Alabama, Nick Saban and his family relocated a total of 17 times! This just goes to show that the family has always had his back and supported him with nothing but constant support as he went on to build one of the most dominant programs in college history. During his speech at the ESPY Awards, he thanked his wife and family for all their love and efforts in an overwhelming message.
Nick Saban and his family have always been close to the team, especially Miss Terry and Kristen, who have been known to have personal relationships with the Alabama players and make them feel at home. In light of everything that they did for the team, Saban said, “You have to have great support from your family. You know, Miss Terry has been the love of my life for 52 years. And she has supported me in every way as my family has. And I certainly appreciate that, because there’s a lot of sacrifices families make in coaching.” Thus, the sacrifices of the family certainly became worth it today as along with the name of Nick Saban, the family can take immense pride in seeing the family name etched onto the title of the stadium, which is a great honor in itself.
