Nick Saban is spending Valentine’s Week with two of the things he cherishes the most in his life: Alabama Crimson Tide and his wife Terry Saban! Even though he has big his farewell to the Alabama Crimson Tide, it will continue to be the best 16 years of his life, professionally speaking. In personal life, on the other hand, Saban is continuing to add memorable days. One of them was Saturday when Nick Saban took his wife out for a day date to watch the Alabama Crimson Tide Men’s basketball team fight the Texas A&M.

Their daughter, Kristen Saban, posted a sweet video of the couple on her Instagram story, with a caption saying, “Cuties on a day date for some Bama Hoops”. Nick Saban finally has the luxury of time to spend with his family, and he is not wasting a minute of it. Saban’s family has had his back during the tough transition.

Kristen Saban reportedly grew up as a die-hard Alabama girl, with her dad on the sidelines in a huddle with the players. So, Saban’s retirement news was the hardest on her. Kristen had to go on a vacation to divert her negative feelings, per her previous Instagram stories. However, once she came back, she had come to terms with Saban’s retirement. Moreover, her whole family was with her during the process.

‘A 7th-grade love come true’ is the best way to describe Nick Saban’s romance story with his wife, Terry Saban. The East Fairmont High is where Saban first fell in love with Terry when they were in the 7th grade, per People. Back then, however, Terry wasn’t interested in him. It was only in high school that Terry finally noticed Saban.

It was in December 1971 when Terry and Saban took their vows, which is almost 50 years back. After they wed, the couple adopted two children, Kristen and Nicholas. Throughout the years, the community at Tuscaloosa has accepted Terry with equally open arms as they had for Nick Saban. To show their appreciation, they also gave her a special name ‘Miss Terry’. It was only with the support of the love of his wife that Saban could retire.
