Jedd Fisch left Arizona for Washington after Kalen DeBoer became Alabama’s new HC following Nick Saban’s retirement. Now this has created chaos for both coaches and players and one of the most significant ones unfolded recently. Speculations arose that Arizona star QB Noah Fifita might enter the transfer portal after Fisch’s departure. But he did not. 

The hottest news today is that Alabama and HC Kalen DeBoer allegedly tampered with Noah Fifita by contacting him despite him being committed to Arizona. This action would be a violation of the NCAA rule. But his father Les Fifita has shut down all the tampering rumors and allegations against DeBoer and Alabama.

A crazy day continues as the Alabama tampering allegations take on a new turn. Les Fifita has finally cleared the air with a recent Twitter update that no one from Alabama has been in contact with the family. He wrote, “Absolutely fake… Never have I spoken to Coach DeBoer or anybody from his camp.”

According to the recent allegations, “Alabama & HC Kalen DeBoer are being accused of TAMPERING with Arizona Star QB Noah Fifita.” The rumor was that DeBoer came in contact with the Fifitas with an offer to transfer to Alabama despite Noah Fifita not entering the transfer portal. This is false news as Les Fifita reported, but “blatant lies” concocted for “likes and views.”

How Nick Saban’s retirement led to this situation

After Nick Saban retired, Kalen DeBoer left Washington to take his place at Alabama. This drove former Arizona HC Jedd Fisch to move to Washington. Meanwhile, Arizona hired Brent Brennan of San Jose State Spartans whose position was filled by Ken Niumatalolo.
