The Sanders family is known for one thing and it’s supporting each other through ups and downs. But recently, Coach Prime was critical of her daughter, Shelomi Sanders’ decision. This led to Pilar Sanders intervening and throwing shade at Deion Sanders and there was another twist their eldest Shilo unfollowed his mother on Instagram. Despite, this Pilar hyped up her sons for the upcoming football season.

After showing up with Shelomi Sanders and supporting her throughout the CU Buffs women’s basketball season, the ex-wife of Deion Sanders is now letting the world know how proud she is of her sons.

Pilar has always supported and cheered for her children and this was yet another example of that. Just a few days back she shared her enthusiasm for Shilo Sanders’ acting debut in Starz network hit crime drama “Black Mafia Family,” (BMF) Interestingly, Shilo was cast to play the role of his father, Deion Sanders. Pilar posted a glimpse from Shilo’s first look on BMF and said, “So this is a super proud mummy moment. That’s right, that is Shilo, mummy’s first born on BMF. Starz are introducing him. This is his first scripted role.” Earlier Coach Prime and Deiondra Sanders also cheered on Shilo when the news first broke. But it hasn’t been all cheers and claps in the family.

After completing her freshman season at Colorado, Coach Prime’s daughter Shelomi decided to enter the transfer portal. However, this didn’t sit well with his father. This was Shelomi’s second transfer in as many years and Sanders wanted her to think this move out. He said, “It was stupid! You’ve got to get a team before you enter the portal. That’s what you advise a child Don’t leave a job before you have a job.” But Pilar Sanders came into their daughter’s defense by expressing her discontentment on YouTube.

She took a dig at Coach Prime’s harsh conduct as she addressed Shelomi by saying, “I’m proud of you and I’m happy for you, and I will always be here supporting you. Because I’m a real mama who’s present. You always talk about a present person.” It was then discovered that Shilo Sanders had unfollowed his mother on TikTok after this exchange. But it didn’t stop her from showing her support when he was cast in BMF

Shelomi Sanders finds a new home after leaving CU

Shelomi Sanders’ love for basketball never left her despite her struggles to find success in the sport. She followed Deion Sanders’ footsteps by coming to Colorado from JSU. However, the 5’6 redshirt freshman guard recorded a total of 11 minutes on the bench in five games this season in Colorado. So, she decided that it was time for her to find a new challenge as she wanted more playing time.

She entered the transfer portal in April and toward the end of the month she headed back to the Southwestern Athletic Conference. Shelomi will now line up for Alabama A&M Bulldogs in the new season. Alabama A&M went 15-16 last season and will enter next year led by new head coach Dawn Thornton. Shelomi will be hoping to see increased playing time with her new team.

Whatever happens, she will be certain to find her mother in her corner rooting for her as she has done for all three of her children.
