While taking a break from keeping a close watch on the Buffs, Buffaloes HC Deion Sanders and WR coach Jason Philips got engaged in a playful tussle with the program’s Quality Control Analyst (Special Teams), Trevor Reilly.

Mockingly accusing Reilly of having ‘diplomatic immunity’, the duo mockingly questioned Reilly’s style statement. Philips playfully mocked Deion for maintaining double standards and having different treatments towards special Buffs members, Reilly in this case.

Targeting the Special Teams analyst for his freedom in terms of fashion choice, Coach Prime commented pointing at Philips,  “Trevor has diplomatic immunity so Trevor could come out here and jeans. Trevor to come out here with some drawers but he going to have a CU you on. He’s upset that Trevor gets to come out here.”

To strengthen his point, Philips lightly points out how Reilly has a special privilege in terms of choosing comfort over his coaching duties as far as clothes are concerned, “I’m questioning why Trevor gets to offend all the other things that everybody else is being held accountable to? That’s the only thing that’s the only question”.

Philips’ comment mockingly puts Deion in question, when a few days back too he has been seen not missing a chance while giving the Buffs’ players strict instructions to adhere to discipline.

Having an eye for detail, nothing can ever surpass Deion Sanders’ attention. Dedicating himself to the Buffaloes, Coach Prime has extended himself beyond the gridiron. Even while performing the mundane tasks, he took classes for the players transforming them into a lesson in self-discipline. He recently delivered a powerful message to his players and urged them to pay attention to cleanliness while using shared spaces.

The Buffs head coach has been so serious about this discipline drive that he had arranged a special meeting and instructed the players, “I want you to go to the bathrooms after practice and everything and make sure ain’t nothing on there because if we catch one piece of toilet paper on the seats and not flush everybody going to come back to the complex and we going to run we got that respect is respect man. This your mom ain’t raise you like that.”

Besides, he has paid attention to building team unity and treating everyone equally to add to team cohesion. Hence, Philips light-heartedly held Deion Sanders ‘accountable’ for having turned blind to Reilly’s act of ditching joggers for stylish jeans, bringing a touch of fashion to the coaching sessions.
