The Kobe Bryant-Shaquille O’Neal duo was one of the most iconic pairs in sports. The two NBA legends played together from 1996 to 2004 for the Los Angeles Lakers. They complemented each other perfectly with 7’1 Shaq creating opportunities for Bryant to make drives to the basket or shoot from the perimeter.

With their perfect game chemistry, the pair won three back-to-back NBA Championships from 2000 to 2022. And while it’s a sad thing for basketball fans when the duo dispersed, there could be something similar brewing in the current background at Colorado. Shedeur Sanders may have found his Shaq in the 278-pound recruit.

Despite moving to Colorado, Shedeur Sanders found his roots by attending an HBCU CIAA basketball tournament in Baltimore. Standing at 6’5, Jordan Seaton is the sole 5-star recruit that Deion Sanders brought to Colorado for the 2024 season. But this comparison might go beyond physical resemblances because the pair seems to share a close bond.

The relationship between Shedeur Sanders and Jordan Seaton

While Shedeur Sanders and Jordan Seaton are yet to see their first action together, there is a lot of indication that these two are going to be an effective pair. When Seaton first joined Colorado after rejecting a multi-million dollar offer from Tennessee, he made his intentions clear on FS1’s Undisputed about Shedeur Sanders being the most sacked QB in college football with the statement, “That will never happen again.”

In addition to this promise, Jordan Seaton and Shedeur Sanders seem to share a close off-field relationship. Ever since the OT joined the Buffs, he’s been seen hanging out with the QB on numerous occasions, including a shopping day out, hiking to the snowy mountains, and the recent appearance at the CIAA basketball championship tournament, among others. Once the season kicks in and real actions begin, the duo will have a lot to prove to their fans.
