Revving up their Ford trucks to set off on monumental trips is a staple in the Sanders’ house. Coach Prime in particular has a classic taste in monstrous trucks and the genes of which he has proudly passed onto his sons. So, when it was time for another significant day in Sanders’ life, he had his $150k F-650 road beast, that he brought last year ,to accompany him. Prime drove it straight to the airport terminal, where a luxurious private jet awaited him for his trip to LA to meet ‘the greatest college football head coach in history‘.

Last year Sanders revealed that he bought his Ford Super Truck before starting off his season at Buffs. Sanders’ “baby” features a 6.7 liter power stroke V8 turbo diesel engine that generates 270 horsepower and 750 pounds of torque. Meanwhile, Coach Prime shared his excitement as he is preparing to shoot a commercial with Nick Saban.

“We about to go to work. I’m looking forward to this trip. I get the glean from the greatest college football coach in the history, Coach Saban,” Deion Sanders revealed in the Well Off Media Video. Deion Sanders and Nick Saban, two of the most talked-about head coaches of CFB, have been in the news for something else from the past season, the Aflac commercials, which was also the reason for their meeting. “We’re getting ready to shoot an Aflac commercial,” Prime revealed.

With the teaser given by Prime, the fans can now expect the next part of the Aflac duck and the Gap Goat conflict. The idea of presenting the Gap Goat as the medical expense and the Aflac Duck boosted the popularity of the insurance giant in the market, thanks to Saban and Deion Sanders. Notably, this is not the first time the head coach duo appeared in the commercial. In fact, they both got together last year for the Aflac college football 2023-24 campaign.

The last commercial showed the two legends reuniting to talk about the overwhelming differences between health insurance coverage and the actual financial burdens caused by the healthcare industry. Coaches Saban and Prime step in as translators, showing fans how Aflac can help with medical expenses that traditional health insurance doesn’t cover.

Coach Saban candidly shared, “While kicking off another college football season, I’ll continue advocating for those grappling with medical debt arising from unforeseen medical events, something that hits close to home considering the medical injuries we face during the season.” It is good to see that a legendary coach can acknowledge the financial hardships of students; especially with all the NIL talks going around.

There seems to be a growing misconception that all college football athletes make bank when that is not always the case. Not to mention, a serious injury can cost a lot to recover from no matter what background you come from. “Football teaches the importance of being prepared for any situation, and we want fans to know how Aflac can help when health expenses arise.” Saban added in the last commercial.

Meanwhile Sanders’ love for big trucks is carried by his sons as well. About a month ago, Deion Sanders Jr. purchased a powerful Ford F-150 Raptor truck at Truck Ranch. The estimated cost of this monster is around 100k.

For Coach Prime the Aflac shoot will be another opportunity to catch up with Saban, who he has admitted has influenced his career. This is just one of the reasons why Deion Sanders is fond of Saban, he even expressed being excited for the next commercial because he loves picking his brain and gets to learn a lot from the retired coach.

The reason why Deion Sanders loves the shoots

While boosting the popularity of their health insurance scheme might be the best part for Aflac, it is something much more for Deion Sanders.

There is a particular reason Deion Sanders is ever-so-excited to shoot with Saban. It isn’t about the shoot for him. It’s about having a chance to spend some time with the ‘greatest CFB coach in history’ and the opportunity to steal some valuable advice from him to implement in his head coaching career.

“I love the days that we have on set so I could just bombard him for his wisdom and insight and thought process on leading men to the next level. Because he’s been there, done that,” Sanders confessed in the Well Off Media video.

Deion Sanders reveres Saban for all he has done in the CFB landscape, a milestone he would also like to achieve one day. “He is the Magnum of what I’m trying to do. So this is going to be some wonderful, blessed inspiring, encouraging, motivating days,” Prime further, added.

In the past as well Coach Prime has shown his admiration for Saban and said that he keeps learning from him. Sanders also tweeted, “College Football just lost the GOAT to retirement”. when Saban announced his retirement earlier this year.
