Coach Sims instills seriousness and commitment in the Buffs roster

The former defensive back at Concord University and Tennessee-Chattanooga has a pretty extensive resume within college athletics. While applying his strategies in strength coaching like activities such as tug of war and Navy SEAL training, what Coach Sims focuses on this time is strengthening bonds. All he wants for the Buffs is to build brotherhood within the squad. As the players are in the midst of intense summer practice, they are reminded of the loopholes that restricted them from fulfilling their promise last year. As Sims claimed, “All the other strength coaches, I check on them, they check on me. But it’s for the same purpose, for the same goal so that we can climb and bring our brothers with us.”
