Great times are approaching for Leanna Lenee and Travis Hunter! After saying a “million times yes” to the Buffs two-way star in February, fiancée Leanna is spicing things up with preparations for the future. And it’s got to do with their wedding which has now become a topic of interest and anticipation. 

The couple’s love story began in high school, with Hunter pursuing Leanna, having a YouTube channel together, the proposal, and the pending wedding. It was a beautiful love story that recently led to an upgrade in Leanna’s diamond engagement ring to a bigger one five months after the proposal. What a loving gesture by her millionaire fiancé, who is one of the highest NIL earners in college football! And now, she’s already out here getting ready to look the best for her man. 

One week after announcing her engagement, Leanna has been taking things further. Her last Instagram story on July 28 caught our attention. In the post, she uploaded a snap of elegant bridal gowns lined up for her to choose from. She already seems to pick her wedding dress for the big day that’s set to happen only next year!

The posts that preceded this one showcased her celebrating her joy with close ones in what seemed to be a mini bridal shower. She donned a “bride-to-be” sash that beautifully complemented her chic white mini dress as she got ready to go somewhere—probably the wedding dress salon! So, when’s the wedding due?

If all the events happening around you make it seem like Leanna and Travis’ big event is just around the corner, you can relax. The wedding is still a long way off. It’s not even going to happen this year. But the preparation has already begun just like every major event prepares months ahead of the main day. The excitement began with Leanna sending bridesmaid invitation boxes to a couple of her close friends to join her side on her big white day. 

Taking account of Leanna’s IG post from a week ago, in which she posed with Hunter in all-white attire, her wedding is set to take place in late May 2025. She blessed her union with a Bible verse from Mark 10:9 that reads, “Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” We join the couple in counting down the days to their new chapter of life!
