Earliеr in thе yеar, Nicholas Air, thе 10th largеst privatе jеt flight providеr in thе Unitеd Statеs, struck a comparablе agrееmеnt with Univеrsity of Mississippi quartеrback Jaxson Dart. Now, thеy havе turnеd thеir attеntion to thе Tеxas Longhorns.

According to a twееt from On3 on May 23rd, “Thе Tеxas Onе Fund has appointеd Nicholas Air as thе official privatе aviation partnеr of thе Longhorn cеntric NIL collеctivе.” This partnership signifies Nicholas Air’s continued presence in the Austin market, but this time with a significant twist. The company kickstarted its association by signing Texas QB Quinn Ewers.

Although no further details about the deal have been revealed, Ewers will reportedly gain access to Nicholas Air’s fleet of jets through this NIL contract, providing the 21-year-old athlete with transportation resources for his demanding schedule. From training sessions to volunteer events and personal travel, Ewers can utilize the jets for various purposes. Ewers has expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating that he is “fired up” and sees it as a “perfect match” for his travel needs.

Founder and CEO of Nicholas Air, Nicholas Correnti, expressed his excitement about welcoming Ewers to the Nicholas Air family. Correnti emphasized Ewers’ exceptional talent and leadership qualities, highlighting him as a player who adds excitement to college football. “Nicholas Air has always aligned itself with the best in class, both on and off the field, and our relationship with a great leader and hard worker like Quinn is another exciting chapter for our team,” said Correnti.

Notably, Quinn Ewers is valued at $1.9 million on On3, making him the sixth most valuable player on the NIL chart. However, with Ewers also involved in an EA Sports CF25 deal, sharing the cover with CU WR/CB Travis Hunter and Michigan’s Donovan Edwards, Ewers’ new partnership might push Hunter to elevate his game to match the standard of his co-cover athlete.

Is Ewers surpassing Huntеr in the NIL racе?

Although Hunter may not have a jet company backing him through NIL, his NIL value stands at $2.7 million, according to On3, with a net worth of $6 million. Remarkably, Hunter’s recent NIL agreements include substantial contracts with KFC, the $19.1 billion energy drink company Celsius, and J5 Caffe, a coffee company based in Columbus, Mississippi.

This places him as the second highest-paid NIL player in college football, after his teammate Shedeur Sanders. Therefore, a close analysis indicates that despite Ewers securing a groundbreaking deal, he still has ground to cover to reach Hunter’s level in the NIL hierarchy.
