During the first seven minutes of the game, the Terrapins proved that they’re not a force to be reckoned with even if it is against the Michigan Wolverines. No one expected such a brutal tackle from the team, but when it occurred, the fans of both sides had their jaws wide open. But while it looked like a targeted move on the Maryland end, the referees had a different call to make upon reviewing the foul with close observation.

The fans were outraged when Wilson was tackled brutally by Trader in what was a targeted move. While the officials initially deemed it to be a targeted tackle, the decision was later overturned after a close review. Wilson of the Michigan Wolverines won’t be too happy with the decision as they try to continue their dominant attack this quarter. Currently, the Wolverines have taken the lead but it’ll be interesting to see whether they will be able to hold it. Additionally, the Wolverines’ run to success hasn’t exactly been commendable due to the Jim Harbaugh controversy that continues to haunt the team.

The Jim Harbaugh controversy that tarnished the glory of the Wolverines

A few weeks ago, it was alleged that Jim Harbaugh, then HC for the Wolverines, was involved in a sign-stealing, cheating activity and will be investigated by the NCAA. The news came as a shock to all the fans of the community, as the team had been nothing but dominant throughout their games. But later, all their wins were termed as a product of cheating, as Harbaugh was accused of stealing the signs from the rival teams.

Due to all the controversy that surrounded Harbaugh, he was released from the team, and his legacy as one of the best coaches in the Big Ten League has been forever stained. Though he claims that he doesn’t hold full responsibility for the illicit deed, it will be tough for him to return to the football field for quite a while now. But while he fights to survive in the NCAA, his team continues to decimate all competition in the league as they continue to soar to the top of the table.
