Sherrone Moore & Co. is the undisputed king of the CFB right now. It won the coveted championship title last year and has beaten its archrival, Ohio State, for three straight seasons.

Needless to say, Ohio State fans aren’t happy with their losing streak. Instead of owning their losses, they’re complaining to the NCAA about Michigan. And Michigan alum Dave Portnoy now comes to Moore’s defense.

Barstool Sport’s Dave Portnoy is having a field day with the Michigan-Ohio rivalry. He’s calling out Ohio State fans on his X handle, posting a clip with the caption, “Dear Ohio, you are better than this.” “Everyone just chill out, “ Portnoy says casually before roasting them hard. He imitated Ohio fans, saying they act like crybabies complaining to the NCAA: “They [Michigan] ran it up the middle of a 70-yard. They’re too physical at the line of scrimmage. NCAA help us, we’re getting bullied.” Then Portnoy brutally adds, “The NCAA is one of the most corrupt paper tigers. I don’t give a f**k on what NCAA says.”

Now, Ohio State has a point about Michigan breaking some rules. Their then coach, Jim Harbaugh, got suspended for three games last year for illegally signing recruits. And now, Sherrone Moore and a bunch of other Michigan staffers are in trouble, too, for violating NCAA rules by going for recruits during the dead period. But even with all that, Michigan still won the championship.

And Portnoy is loving every minute. “We went to Happy Valley, smashed them, took Alabama, smashed them, took Washington, smashed them, Ohio, smashed them,” he said, bragging about their wins. As an ultimate insult, he added, “Man up…and maybe one day you can be like me — a national champion.” It looks like the Wolverines are just swooning over their winning streak!

Can Sherrone Moore maintain dominance?

Michigan fans are riding high after their team’s big win last year, and they’re not afraid to rub it in Ohio State’s face. This week, a Michigan fan took their trash talk to a new level. During the WWE SummerSlam event in Ohio’s Cleveland Brown Stadium, he held up a sign saying, “1708 days since OSU beat Michigan.” That got a lot of attention, and of course, Ohio State fans fired back.

But Michigan fans are still confident. They’ve won several games against Ohio State and are not worried about the future. However, things might be different this year. Michigan lost its star coach, Jim Harbaugh, and quarterback, JJ McCarthy, to the NFL. Ohio State is still a strong team, and this year’s game could be a real nail-biter.

However, CFB expert Josh Pate offers Ohio fans a reality check. “If Ohio State loses to Michigan….it will be illogical conversation for Ryan Day from that point out,” he says, pointing out the ongoing reality. So, the pressure is on for both teams, and this year’s rivalry game is surely going to be more intense.
