The 5’11”, 175-lb athlete has impressed many with his performance for Duncanville’s 6A Division I state championship win in 2022. As a sophomore, he had 764 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns.

His success has also brought him some desirable headaches as teams are vouching for him despite his verbal commitment to LSU last August. Joining the race is a special program designed to develop rookie football players in the country.

Jason Suchomel of Orangebloods.com took to X on March 10 to post a clip from the training session at the LSU training camp. The clip was uploaded with the tweet, “LSU commit and 5-star WR Dakorien Moore at Under Armour Next camp. Remains a priority target for the #Longhorns and several other programs.

The elite five-star Duncanville WR Dakorien Moore will be one of the top priorities for Texas football in the 2025 class. Per the tweet, he receives offers from other football programs, such as Under Armour Next. For fans who are unaware, the Under Armour Next Football Program grooms future stars from middle and high school. Through camps and events, they train these athletes to hone their skills. The “Camp Series” provides a platform for them to compete against top talent and impress scouts.

However, such offers are not something new for the LSU committed star who is being hailed as the future successor of Malik Nabers. Despite his verbal commitment to LSU, Moore’s resume is strong enough to attract teams.

Texas Longhorns and Oregon Ducks show interest in Dakorien Moore

Aside from LSU, Texas Longhorns and Oregon Ducks are two of the top teams Moore is interested in. Moore visited Texas unofficially to watch a match between the Longhorns and the Wyoming Cowboys. Regardless, head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns are treating him as an uncommitted prospect.

On the other hand, Dakorien Moore spoke with Ducks Digest about a trip made by Oregon Ducks recruits and his recruitment. He was excited at the prospect of teaming up with Oregon Ducks and felt their genuine love. “They’ve been showing me a lot of love since the beginning. I really feel like it was real genuine love.
