Things are taking good shape between quarterback Jalen Milroe and the new Alabama Crimson Tide head coach, Kalen DeBoer. As DeBoer stepped into the role of HC, he ensured that change would be brought to the entire coaching roster by replacing Nick Saban’s army. 

However, even in that case, the new environment has suited Milroe well. In one of the recent interviews, he could not help but share his gratitude for the positive culture within the Alabama squad. 

Milroe talks highly of his bond with DeBoer

Milroe possesses the requisite height and frame potential for quarterbacks. Being part of DeBoer’s program, this physique and on-field talents have been used. Around the A-Day Game, Milroe gave an interview where he could not help but shower praise on the Alabama HC. When discussing his experience working with DeBoer and Co., the quarterback revealed, “He comes with a positive reinforcement behind the coaching. So this is a special moment for me because of who he is as a person.”

Owing to DeBoer his success, Milroe is now in a quest to improve his skills and gives credit to the bond he shares with the coach, “I’m stead to learning and growing because it’s that trust act we have between each other. So I love our relationship ’cause it’s constantly growing.” Besides DeBoer, the quarterback also had a pleasant relationship with other coaches.

Milroe’s evolving journey with Alabama

The quarterback told his parents he would get a degree from the University of Alabama. He ensured commitment to the promise as the Crimson Tide squad underwent a massive transformation. DeBoer hired new coaches to revamp the staff. As the former offensive coordinator, Ryann Grubb made his way out of the Crimson Tide to join Settle Seahawks, the coach promoted Nick Sheridan to the roles of quarterback coach and offensive coordinator.

Noting his experience with Sheridan, Milroe commented, “As a quarterback, to have an offensive-minded coach and to be around him, it’s always great.” Interestingly, DeBoer ensured to add a unique touch to the Crimson Tide program. While Saban dedicated the maximum time at practice to defense, the new coach watches over both sides of the ball.

Milroe now takes up the role of a sponge as he takes up the guidance of DeBoer and his company, using their positive bond. Besides this, he channels his focus and energy into learning about Crimson Tide’s offensive system to fulfill his ultimate goal of becoming the best quarterback in the country.
