The 2024 season is the last ride for Shedeur in college football, as the Buffs QB will soon onboard the NFL vessel. It has indeed been a long and memorable ride for Shedeur. He started with the Jackson State Tigers and earned the Jerry Rice Award and Deacon Jones Trophy. Later on, as Deion transferred to Boulder, his son followed in his father’s footsteps. While his debut season in Colorado barely gave him anything to celebrate, he emerged as the most sacked player with 52 sacks; even so, he gets to feel the college football farewell blues.

As captured by Well Off Media, it started with Shedeur enjoying the luxurious private jet ride, but the QB got misty-eyed as time passed.  “It is that time right there yeah season is almost over. Bro, you know what I always do but this one’s different. It’s the last one at the college career last season,” acknowledged an emotional Shedeur. Even though it has been a bumpy ride for the QB, he picked up some tips along the way. He thus had to admit, “For how far we came was unthinkable it was unpredictable it’s legendary.” While Colorado’s Big 12 dreams are yet to come true, Shedeur earned the highest praise.

QB Noah Fifita’s applause for Shedeur

At the Big 12 Media Day, Shedeur landed in hot water because of his over-confidence when he confessed, “I already know what the expectations comes with. I know we’re everybody Super Bowl.” Carrying the history of receiving the most sacks, fans did not leave any opportunity to pass brutal remarks at the QB. But amidst all this negativity, Shedeur got lucky enough to win applause.

It has been no less than a surprise to earn respect from none other than his rival QB, Arizona Wildcats’ Noah Fifita. Back in November last year, Fifita got the opportunity to face Shedeur, and based on that very play, he had something big to say in favor of the Buffs QB. In an interview with the Coloradoan, Fifita confessed, “He’s (Shedeur) special. That’s a generational talent for sure. Just watching him and the things that he does, he’s very competitive. I know people don’t like some of his tactics, but as a competitor myself, I love it.”

The analysts are still unsure whether Shedeur will rock the field before his college football send-off. But coming from a rival QB, this pat on the back will supercharge the QB amidst all the negativity to trust in his talent.
