Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffs have found themselves in hot water again after former safety Xavier Smith revealed his raw experience under the Buffs’ new HC. According to a post by The Athletic, Smith called out Colorado’s lack of compassion as he narrated an incident with Coach Prime and the Buffs officials. He said, “(Sanders) said he felt like I should hit the portal. He didn’t want me to waste a year thinking I could earn a spot… You never even tried to get to know me.”
After this revelation, Shedeur Sanders took to X to drop his two cents on Smith. He wrote, “(I don’t) even remember him (to be honest). Bro had to be very mid at best.” This comment rubbed fans of social media the wrong way who seemed to take a dig at the Buffs QB. Following that, Deion Sanders appeared to defend his son, garnering a reaction from Lane Kiffin.
