Laitau Latu, the UCLA Bruins’ DE, was phenomenal during his two-year stay. He had the highest tackles for loss per game at 1.8 tackles and ranked fourth in sacks per game (1.08). With 13 sacks last season, he was awarded the Ted Hendricks Award and Lombardi Award and was even named an All-American. Although college football players aren’t paid by the college football programs, the introduction of NIL has helped them earn a steady income before going pro.

Since Latu is one of the top college football athletes in the country, he has some lucrative endorsement deals under his belt. But how much does he make out of it?

Latu has another important deal signed with Saxx Underwear, a brand for men’s underwear, which was announced on September 27, 2023. Despite having only a few thousand followers on social media, he is ranked 70th overall in the NIL 100 list and 49th among all college football players in the country. Interestingly, Latu’s stock hasn’t seen much change in the last six months, but he hopes to change it with the upcoming draft.
