The Colorado Buffaloes’ Travis Hunter lives by the motto of uplifting his 2025 NFL Draft stocks. After grueling speed training sessions, it’s time for the dual threat to sweat it off in the gym. Will it be enough?

Unfortunately, apart from his competitors on the field, Hunter will now have to fight the body-shamers aiming for his hard work. When the two-way phenom’s workout video went viral, haters hit him with comments about his appearance.

NFL Rookie Watch published a short snippet from Hunter’s gym session on X. The caption of the post reads, “Travis Hunter’s workouts are something ELSE. To be the best, you obviously have to train like the BEST.” In the video, the Buff is seen challenging himself every time to grow stronger and reach the peak of physical fitness. To add an oomph factor to his workout routine, Hunter is up for the challenge of one pushup a second and effortlessly makes it possible.

On June 6, Reach The People Media captured him appearing extraordinary with his weight training. Hunter passed the crucial fitness test with flying colors and lifted a 335-pound weight easily. But he no longer needs the assistance of artificial weights to build his muscles, as he is enough for the weight training antics. Weighing 190 lbs himself, as highlighted in the video, Hunter challenges gravity by pushing himself up during pushups. But his efforts, instead of garnering praise, got exposed to online trolls.

Hunter’s pushup challenge draws unfair criticism

All the trolls did was make fun of how Hunter worked his lower body while performing the pushups. A fan was startled at how the page dared to post the workout videos that appeared weird to some, “Ain’t no way u posted this.” The dual threat’s lean arms and legs have been a concern to a particular fan, “Why does he have muscles like a twig then?” “Those are a** ups,” Hunter, focusing more on the lower part of the body, made an enthusiast come up with this sarcastic remark. A commenter quipped, trying to trivialize Hunter’s hard work and dedication, drawing parallels with Kim Kardashian, “I think Kim Kardashian does this one.”

“Incoming fat slobs making fun of his workouts!!!” out of all, a fan criticized the wave of negativity. But disparaging remarks poured in as a fan questioned the nature of the workout, “What’s this called? The Diq in the booty ?” “Weighted? Or is his form just weird/ trash?” someone went a notch higher by tagging the workout as “trash.”

But Hunter hardly has any time to pay heed to this negativity. Instead, he stands firm in his goal to emerge as the powerful dynamo that would propel the Colorado Buffaloes to the top in their match-up against the North Dakota State. Is this dedication enough to overturn the Buffs’ 2023 narrative? Do share your opinions.
