DeBoer has been successfully coaching teams and has an excellent rating now. Apart from being an ideal HC, he has a wife named Nicole and two daughters, Alexis and Avery. His family has always supported his coaching endeavors; they followed him throughout his professional journey. The DeBoer family: the two marvelous daughters

His family has supported his career, mainly his wife Nicole and their two daughters, Alexis and Avery. “My family and I feel truly blessed and look forward to becoming a part of the Tuscaloosa community,” DeBoer said. Kalen DeBoer’s two daughters play a special role in his life. Alexis and Avery are both well accomplished in their own right. Alexis is one of the most glorious student-athletes on the Washington softball team, where she played as an infielder and was able to record a .634 batting average during her senior year at Bellevue High School in Washington. On the other hand, Avery is currently studying at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as an HR Management, Women and Gender Studies, and Honors student.

Currently, she is known for her research works which include “Not ‘Born-Free’: ‘Corrective’ Rape in South Africa.” and offers consulting services to companies that demand strategy, technology, and marketing. Of course, trying to maintain a career and being a family man while playing football at the college level is difficult to achieve. DeBoer has been quite successful in sustaining this duality. His appointment as Alabama HC is one of the exciting episodes that defines him as a coach and one who has enjoyed an impeccable career. “I would not have left Washington for just any school. The chance to lead the football program at The University of Alabama is the opportunity of a lifetime,” DeBoer said.

Kalen has families both on-field and off-field

DeBoer is a strategist on the field, but his interactions with people, especially his players, reveal a different side of him. It can be argued that this empathetic approach is a direct result of his parenting roles with his young children.
