Julian Lewis Sums Up His Emotions in 6 Words After Colorado’s Historic Chain Surprises Him With Personalized Burger

As the five-star prospect is enjoying the best of his CU official visit weekend in Boulder, the die-hard Colorado fans are trying every trick up their sleeve to make JuJu flip to CU. Peggy Coppom tried requesting Lewis that she is “tired of being a good loser.” It is yet to yield any response from the USC commit since he has been busy with top tier teams like Auburn and USC trying to lure him in each possible way. But the Colorado fans are not the ones to stop after one failed attempt either. The Sink Burger, a 100-year-old burger chain in Colorado, launched a special Juju’s Precision Pass Burger right before JuJu was set to attend the official weekend, just to show Lewis how much the CU fans want to see Lewis in the black and gold uniform.

Well, the trick seemed to work wonders on the QB as it lured him right to the burger spot. Squeezing out some special time in between his official visit weekend, Julian Lewis visited the burger spot to try it out himself. In the picture that the Sink Burger shared on X, Julian Lewis is proudly posing with the double-patty cheeseburger named after him with a smile on his face. “Looks like we’ve got some good Juju at The Sink!” The Sink shared on X. They topped their message with a daring assumption, saying, “Is he a little more committed to CU now? We think so!” 

While JuJu did not have any immediate answer to their assumption, he sure had some sweet words to say to the people at The Sink Burger. “It was great meeting you all @sinkburger,” Julian Lewis wrote on his X on June 23. Speaking of June 23, the day marks the last day of the CU official visit. Naming the burger was a classic example of Deion Sanders and Co. running along the lines of ‘go big or go home‘. The Buffs called the shots and went big with the burger thing. However, will their efforts yield any results?

Julian Lewis ‘still locked in with USC’

The answer to the question largely depends on Lewis’s verdict on Colorado once the official visit weekend concludes. However, walking into the Boulder weekend, Julian Lewis was clear of one thing: “I’m still locked in with USC,” Julian Lewis said, putting special emphasis on being “100% sure” about his decision after he concluded his official visits at Auburn and USC.

His father, T.C. Lewis, an influential figure in JuJu’s decision, also seems pretty sold on Colorado, the main reason behind it being Coach Riley. T.C. Lewis has already affirmed that Lewis would not be at USC if it weren’t for Coach Riley. Then why are the father and son still taking official visits? It is because Jerry Jones, the Dallas Cowboys owner, is rumored to be in talks with Lincoln Riley to lure him to coach the Cowboys.

“Julian is committed to SC as long as they do what they said they were going to do,” T.C. Lewis told to Southern California News Group, setting the priorities for his son straight. However, Lewis has formed a two-way trust with Riley, evident from his reclassifying to the class of 2025 on Lewis’ suggestion. Amid all this, the response of Lewis to Colorado would have a lot at stake, for both Deion Sanders and Lincoln Riley.
