Julian Lewis fans are on the edge of their seats, and why wouldn’t they be? The surrounding rumors of committing to Colorado are getting stronger with each passing day. His joining hands with Coach Prime can bring a revolution. Even Colorado is taking Julian as a very big prospect and not leaving any stone unturned. During his visit to Colorado, Boulder restaurant named a burger in Julian’s name, what bigger chase could be there?

Julian’s father fanned the rumors by posting pictures that hinted towards his commitment to Colorado very soon, though it is not officially announced yet. Even Lewis’s past actions also speak in favor of this speculation. During his visits to different schools, Colorado’s visit was the most flashy out of all, with open arms and hands showcasing “We Want JuJu” placards. Is the wait for his commitment statement over now?

A cryptic message to Coach Prime

On August 1st, Julian Lewis’s father Tryone C. Lewis shared a picture on his Facebook account with a caption, “No matter how it plays out and regardless of what he ultimately decides this journey has truly been special… #OrderedSteps #KeepWorking”. Well, the caption doesn’t tell us much, it is just a father keeping the spirit up of his son. Where the message lies is the picture itself. Tyrone is seen resting his hand on the shoulder of Julian Lewis and this picture is from the front of CU’s stadium (Folsom field) from their last CU visit. Their back is towards the camera and both of them are facing the stadium. It is a hint to Coach Prime that Julian is looking forward to being a part of the team and finally committing to them. On top of that, Julian is wearing a CU jersey. What more of a reason do we need to believe? A CU Buffs fan shared this picture on his Twitter account with the caption, “#wewantjuju”. 

Well, who doesn’t? Shedeur Sanders is also heading into his final season of college football in the NFL 2025 Draft and hence Deion would need an eligible QB to replace Shedeur. And for Deion, it is Julain Lewis. He is a young person who still has shown elite talent. Julian also has this great spirit of team building and leadership, which resonates with Shedeur. When he would be gone, Julian is an eligible person to take the team forward. With the kind of talent this guy possesses, Deion must grab this opportunity of having him by his side.

Julian also does not stay behind in dropping cryptic messages on his social media accounts. He posted a tweet on X on July 1st with the caption that read, “We walk to the smoke not away from it. Played against 65 defensive players with D1 offers last season @Carrollton_High #MoreWorkToDo in 2024 #AlmostTime” This tweet made all the fans sit and think what is the hidden meaning behind this tweet made by Julian. Was it just a random tweet that he made or was it something really behind it? Well, the tweet he made right after he visited Colorado further fueled speculation that he is going to commit to Colorado.  

Julian has a strong reason to commit to Colorado

OL Chauncey Gooden a four-star offensive lineman and another legendary player from the 2025 class, is also helping Coach Prime to get a hold of Julian. OL Chauncey also announced his commitment to Colorado on June 24th with a solid message that said, “LETS DO IT!!!!! 1000000% COMMITED” through a post. He had 15-plus offers and still, he chose to be with Colorado, and the fact that he wants Lewis as the future QB1 of the Buffs is not hidden. He shared his desire through his X account, posting a picture of him and Julian on the throne wearing a CU Jersey. The caption read, “Let’s be legendary @JuJuLewis10, I need my QB1! 🤞🤞🤞🐂🐂🐂”

Deion also plans to build a strong powerhouse offense for 2025 with this OL-QB legendary duo. Julian seems to be the only missing piece in the team that Deion has made for next year. With getting offensive linemen like Payton Kirkland and Ethan Boyd and then Gooden and J Gardenhire, three-star offensive tackles; Coach Prime has set a good outline. The final decision is yet to come out in a few days and with that let us just most patiently wait for what Julian decides, though everything points towards one thing only which is his commitment to Colorado.
