Colorado Buffaloes’ edge sharpens as Julian ‘JuJu’ Lewis is believed to bypass Lincoln Riley’s program. On one hand, there comes Deion Sanders’ efforts and sincerity to make it an easy ride for the five-star QB. On the other hand, there is the USC Trojans’ fading health. To get a better view of what might be going through Lewis’ mind, the DNVR Buffs Podcast comes with an interesting take.

It is believed that the QB is likely to avoid a future like Caleb Williams in USC and say yes to Coach Prime. An absolute WIN-WIN situation for the Buffs, who are already making some constructive changes so their favorite ‘JuJu’ does not end up like Caleb Williams. Stay tuned for more updates.

If there is anything that has left college football on the edge of their seats is the next move of Lewis. To commit or not to commit (to the Buffaloes), that’s the question. Now, analyst Jake Schwanitz pours in with a confirmation about the Deion’s program having an edge over Riley’s. Back-to-back losses have marred year 2 of the Lincoln Riley era at USC. Moreover, it also left an impact on the Trojans’ legacy as the analyst pinpointed, “They are not even what they were two years ago at this point…they have problems defensively that have plagued Lincoln’s USC career.”

When the program’s HC himself is in a dilemma, it will be hard for the Trojans to woo Lewis. Another crucial factor remains that they failed to protect one of their primed assets, Caleb Williams, as they suffered a massive blow when their defense fell apart. “Two years ago they were in the Pack 12 title game when Caleb got hurt and I know that played a huge factor but they just couldn’t defend anyone”, claimed the analyst. But Lewis does not have anything to worry about, as Deion Sanders has catered to all these pointers.

Deion’s sincere efforts to protect Lewis

The Colorado Buffaloes HC is set to go that extra mile to bring Lewis to Boulder. So much so that many claim that Lewis will be his next favorite after Shedeur. To some extent, it seems to be true. The Buffs HC could have easily trusted the bond he shares with T.C. Lewis, the 5-star QB’s father, enough to make him commit to Colorado. But no. Sanders ensures to add the familial touch to ‘JuJu’s Boulder experience.

Till now, Deion was preoccupied with the big task of protecting Shedeur Sanders at any cost. As his son ended as the most sacked player last season, the Buffs HC ensured to change the narrative. Now that Shedeur will leave Deion’s nest soon, Coach Prime is preparing for his successor. First things first- Sanders recently made some changes to bolster the O-Line. To ensure that there are no loopholes in Lewis’ protection, Colorado landed two big names- offensive tackle from West Bloomfield High, Jay Gardenhire, and four-star offensive lineman, Chauncey Gooden.

Hence, now Lewis stands at the crossroads where two paths have diverged. Moreover, it’s highly likely Deion Sanders’ efforts to bring him home will impress that JuJu. More than that, who would not love to take the position of someone as impactful as the Buffs QB sensation, Shedeur Sanders?
