Deion Sanders finds himself back in the spotlight for a less-than-ideal reason. John Darjean, a former security guard, has offered new information about his alleged 2015 assault by Shilo Sanders, Deion’s son.

The incident began with Darjean attempting to confiscate Shilo’s phone at Deion’s request. Things escalated quickly, with Darjean claiming Shilo attacked him, resulting in significant injuries. But Darjean’s accusations extend beyond the assault itself. “Shilo was the bad kid. He always stayed in trouble,” Darjean said while opening up. He painted a picture of a troubled youth and dragged Deion through the mud.

In a recent one-on-one conversation with RAZOR RAZE on YouTube, Darjean shared information about what happened with then-15-year-old Shilo. “I called Deion, he didn’t answer,” Darjean recounted, with his frustration evident. “I texted him, ‘Hey call me back and I’ll tell you what’s going on.’” But Deion, according to Darjean, remained immutable.

Darjean’s voice grew stronger as he described Deion’s silence. “A couple of months went by, and I was like ‘f**k this guy.’ I was trying to tell him what his son did!” He then called Deion’s actions “a b*tch move,” adding, “He doesn’t wanna hear what happened. He knows what happened. He knows his son messed up,” but still avoided Darjean.

This renewed focus on the incident puts Deion in a difficult position. Darjean is reportedly seeking $11.8 million in damages, while Shilo filed for bankruptcy to avoid financial responsibility. With the court case progressing and Darjean seemingly gaining traction, Deion has more to answer. For now, he and his son are likely engaging in some damage control.

Deion Sanders reboots Shilo’s social media image

Shilo Sanders’ bankruptcy filing cast a long shadow over himself and his father, Deion Sanders. Shilo retreated from social media for a while to avoid the online storm. However, this month saw a shift in tactics. The Sanders family released a slick poster promoting the Nike Air DT Max ’96 launch, featuring Shilo, Deion, Bucky, and Shedeur sporting the shoes alongside a sleek black Lamborghini. Now, this seemed just a start.

Earlier this week, the Buffaloes safety took control of his draft prospects, posting his impressive stat line of “430 coverage snaps, zero touchdowns allowed.” Deion proudly shared the post, showcasing his son’s on-field achievements to boost his draft stock further.

While both remain conspicuously silent on the assault accusations, their social media resurgence feels like a calculated attempt at damage control. However, fans crave direct answers from the father-son duo regarding the case. Will Deion answer the allegations thrown at him?
