Josh Pate confirmed the fact on his show ‘Late Kicks with Josh Pate’ saying, “That’s not a Harbaugh thing. Like I said that’s just a college football thing will he take anyone with him if he does take that Chargers job.” Harbaugh’s appreciation for McCarthy is no secret, especially after his mighty praise of him being ‘the best QB in franchise history’.

Hence, teams hiring Jim Harbaugh might expect players like McCarthy and others to line up their roster. With all the talent coming in with Harbaugh, the Chargers might want to lock their deal soon.

Chargers reported $90 million deal with Harbaugh

Following the interest of the Falcons in Harbaugh, the Chargers have reportedly raised the contract price for Harbaugh. James Yoder of Michigan Football Report stated that “The Chargers are preparing a 15 to maybe as high as $18 million per year offer.”

The rumored $18 million per year contract is set to expand over a tenure of five years. Along with this, Harbaugh’s previous relationship with the Chargers also sets the favor a bit more on his end.
