On Friday’s episode of the “Superfly” podcast, Dana Carvey and David Spade interviewed 36-year-old Kelce. Throughout the interview, he stayed composed and stressed that a final decision about his retirement has not yet been made. “I don’t know. I’m trying to figure it out right now,” Kelce said. “Right now, exploring different opportunities if I end up retiring,” he added. Kelce also mentioned his plan to continue working out and staying in shape if he decides to keep playing.

As they talked about what happens after retirement, Dana Carvey mentioned the difficulty of coming back to the NFL once you’ve left. He explained that it’s especially tough unless you’re Tom Brady. To which Jason Kelce smiled and replied, “Yeah, he will be welcomed back any time, if he wants so.”

It’s worth noting that, after retiring, Tom Brady recently joined the Fox Sports broadcasting team. He became the top color commentator in 2024.

Will Kelce follow Brady’s lead post-retirement?

Kelce’s football journey has been nothing short of remarkable. After a standout college career at Cincinnati, he was drafted by the Eagles in the 6th round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Since then, Kelce has appeared in over 200 career games, showcasing his talent and dedication on the field. As one of the most decorated offensive linemen of his generation, Kelce boasts seven Pro Bowl appearances and six All-Pro selections.
