Travis Hunter is part of the Cleat Crew, a unique 7-Eleven program consisting of nine college football athletes. The program focuses on raising funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Through his contribution to designing custom cleats for fans to bid on, Hunter has done a wonderful job for Children’s Hospital Colorado.

In a recent IG story uploaded by Travis Hunter, it is revealed that the two-way star’s venture as part of the Cleat Crew raised more than $10K. The proud athlete posted a picture of himself holding the award with the kids. He wrote, “Proud to be part of Cleat Crew this season and raise $10,620 for Children’s Hospital Colorado!”
The overall fund raised by the Cleat Crew amounted to $115,570 to support children’s health across the nation. President and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Aimee Daily said, “Through the innovative Cleat Crew fundraising campaign, 7-Eleven has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to supporting children’s health. Our gratitude to each Cleat Crew athlete and 7-Eleven underscores the profound impact these funds will have in providing critical medical services, groundbreaking research and support for families facing health challenges.”
Travis Hunter signs a new NIL deal

Amidst putting effort into the betterment of Colorado Children’s health, Travis Hunter has signed an exclusive NIL deal in partnership with trading card company Leaf. The reigning Paul Hornung Award winner, along with Jalen Milroe will be featured in a limited edition anime-style trading card. The cards will be sold as part of the 2024 Leaf Metal ANIME NATION collection at $19.99.
Japanese artist Shion Minabe is the creator of Hunter’s web-exclusive metal card design. Leaf’s Director of Marketing and Licensing CJ Breen said, “The Anime Nation Set, created with original artwork in the Anime style by Shion Minabe, has gained significant traction… The recent launch of Jalen Milroe and Travis Hunter editions reflects Leaf’s ability to tap into the vast NIL fanbase within the evolving landscape of Name, Image, and Likeness agreements.” Travis Hunter remains a force in the NIL scene as the top 7th athlete with a NIL valuation of $2 million, according to On3.
