As per the latest reports, Coach Prime Deion Sanders‘s son is in a critical situation. After securing his position as the most valuable defensive player on the team, Shilo Sanders is now stuck in an uncertain situation where he might miss his upcoming game with USC.

The cause is reportedly an injury sustained during the match against the Oregon Ducks. And the crisis resulted in the young defense player ending up in a hospital. It was then that the injury was evaluated to be a kidney injury. However, the details came to light when Shilo’s father, Deion Sanders, came forward to provide a detailed light on the situation.

In the Buffaloes Primetime Radio Show, Coach Prime was inquired regarding his son Shilo’s kidney injury. Sanders expressed his concern about the situation and said that he was praying for him. Shilo Sanders’ injury is a result of him falling on his kidney while delivering a tackle against the Ducks. And that resulted in the aspiring player urinating blood.

Coach Prime explained, “I mean, he got on the plane and he’s like ‘Dad, I’m you know… I’m peeing blood’. So we landed, and we went straight to the hospital to check him out. And he was cool, but he can’t participate until he stops urinating blood. He’s told the doctor ‘You know I’m a Sanders right? We got to play’. I’m like ‘You’re right son, you do‘.

Shilo’s injury at this moment is a matter of great concern, especially when a match is up ahead. The dedicated young Sanders desperately wishes to play in his upcoming game. Unfortunately, it seems difficult and his father explained why.

Coach Prime in the same show informed that his enthusiastic son really wants to be on the field, but he cannot participate till he recovers. He stated, “He wants to play so bad, so we have another probably 36 hours before we really really know he’s not urinating blood anymore.” Therefore, Shilo is now considered a game-time decision.

The Coach’s favorite son is a significant part of the Colorado Buffaloes and has displayed good performance so far. He has had 26 total tackles, 21 solo tackles, one forced fumble, one interception, and one touchdown this season. And his dad supported that saying, “That’s a blow. Shilo is like, he’s the attitude back there. He’s the vocal guy, he’s the enforcer. He is him back there.”
