Deion Sanders is a proud man, thanks to his staff. All the magic Sanders has created in Colorado? According to him, his staff is the one to thank. While Deion Sanders is grateful for each staff member he has, he might be connecting a bit more to the Pro Bowlers on the team, as he confessed. Teaming up with The Pregame Network, Deion Sanders confessed he connected on a better level with the Pro Bowlers than the regular ones.

“I was a pro and I’m more relatable to Pro guys understanding me and I’m understanding them more. Much more relatable to those guys, man and I appreciate them tremendously,” Sanders confessed in his interview. What makes the Pro guys stand out the most is the way they all make the structure smooth as butter to manage. “I’m loving the communication process. I’m loving the way they go about it because both OC and DC are Pros, man. So this stuff is flowing down just like a Pro and I’m more compatible with that,” Sanders admitted.

To that, Deion Sanders also didn’t miss the chance to flaunt his own achievement, along with sneaking into the age-old legacy of his team. “The coaches that we have man 127 years of NFL experience playing and coaching is phenomenal. I don’t know if anybody in college football can eclipse that. We got two gold jackets walking around casually,” mentioned Sanders, reminding his fans that he was one of those gold jackets as well.

Although Deion Sanders is flaunting all he can about his staff and his gold jacket, there is only one thing that would ultimately lead the NFL folks to laud their experience and skills: the performance they put out in the 2024 CFB regular season. As if there are not plenty of questions surrounding Prime’s ability as a head coach after a disappointing 4-8 season, the questions surrounding his son Shedeur are also ever-rising.

Shedeur Sanders and the 2025 NFL draft conundrum

“It’s like, is that example you want your son to set of how he’s going to be a leader?” was one of the few early questions hurled at Deion Sanders for Shedeur Sanders. It all started going downhill after their online feud on X with former Colorado players, one where Shedeur Sanders called a former CU player to be “mid at very best.

That led to allegations against Shedeur Sanders being a good leader for the NFL team. Analysts came in with their defense that it would not be a desirable quality for NFL coaches in their future QBs. With that flared up the questions around Deion Sanders confidently telling people that Shedeur would be a first-round pick.

All of their comments are leading to more and more questions surrounding the father-son duo. Deion Sanders might have passed the Hall of Fame standards to get enshrined as a Golden Jacket member, but his real test is now – To not only prove himself as a good father but also to prove himself as a head coach who can train ‘the greatest QB ever’ level QB at the college level.
