Nothing beats a good old teaser from good old Coach Prime who gave fans something to laugh about in his recent appearance on Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson’s YouTube podcast. And when this trio gets together, topics can fly from pet peeves to NFL digs. In today’s case, the former Atlanta Falcons cornerback believes the retired Cincinnati Bengals WR is no match for him. 

Both Deion Sanders and Chad Johnson were NFL sensations during their playing careers. They went on to establish their records in the game but who among the two former NFL players is better? We might never know unless action takes over words. 

A challenge between Deion Sanders and Chad Johnson?

Deion Sanders’ recent appearance on Nightcap with Unc and Ocho with Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson exposed his goofy side. Chad Ocho Johnson isn’t scared to take on Coach Prime one-on-one. But the Colorado Buffs head said, “You couldn’t have run me.

Coach Prime went on to say, “I’m gonna put so many hands on you. I guarantee you’re gonna file. You’re gonna go break a police report.” Chad Johnson, who was the roast of the episode, flaunted his achievement as he retorted, “Check my resume, don’t do me like that.The former Bengals WR was the 2006 NFL receiving yards leader with 1,369 yards. As one of the nation’s best WRs, he went on to achieve a career-high record in 2007 with 1,440 receiving yards.

Deion Sanders is one of the greatest NFL cornerbacks who joined the Falcons in 1989. A 2-time SB champion, he played 14 seasons for five different NFL teams accounting for 34 solo takes, 4 assists, 13 fumble recoveries, 1.0 sacks, and 53 interceptions. He was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1994 and was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame in 2011.

Chad Johnson had been consistent throughout the 11 seasons of his NFL career with six Pro Bowl appearances. In his 166 games, he accounted for 766 catches for 11,059 yards and 67 touchdowns. Although a fighter on the field, unlike Deion Sanders, Johnson isn’t a Hall of Famer.
