Is this for real? Colorado Buffaloes dual-threat Travis Hunter lost to the Buffs QB sensation Shedeur Sanders. Before you lose your mind, this happened while the two chilled playing EA Sports College Football 25. And guess what was Hunter’s reply? The Buffs’ dual threat claimed that he gave Shedeur just a chance while Deion Sanders’ son topped his victory and Hunter’s loss with his favorite rap.

While playing together, it shuts up all the skeptics who thought their friendship had suffered a blow on the featured cover hoopla. They have an epic gaming session. They’re each other’s ultimate wingmen as recently Shedeur came to Hunter’s rescue after the latter’s unfortunate comment against his team.

Before the season, Shedeur and Hunter set off a mini-explosion on the virtual field. For the first time, they went head-to-head. Even though Shedeur came up with, “Bro, you’re not on my team,” the dual-threat kept on pouring advice for the QB. While the two faced off in a digital dust-up, the Buffs fans got their ultimate answers to the little question: which of the two stars is better at video game football? The end of the video posted by Hunter on his YouTube page on July 16 declared the winner: PLAYER OF THE GAME: SHEDEUR SANDERS, pass yards: 413 and 63.3% completion rate.

Poor Hunter! He did not just lose to Shedeur but had to call himself a “troll.” To soothe his battle scars with some self-pity, Hunter came up with an upbeat defense, “I am a troll, bro. I did it on purpose man. I am a troll.” To further sprinkle some salt on Hunter’s wound, Shedeur’s Perfect Timing lyrics threw in some extra chuckles as Shedeur said, “I stay grinding they told me bust down my AP perfect timing.” Even though the QB celebrates his victory over Hunter here, Shedeur, as Hunter’s wingman, is unbeatable.

Shedeur takes a stand to support Hunter

All that Hunter thought about was to have a fun time with Shedeur while playing the video game. But the universe planned something else for the Buffs’ two-way star as he landed in trouble with a controversial remark. Looking at Hunter’s desperate attempt to escape pressure and getting sacked, a fan commented, “The O-line is realistic.” To which the player replied, “Very realistic.” Shedeur pounced into the conversation and asked, “What do you mean?” “(They) can’t block for anything,” came Hunter’s reply.

Shedeur Sanders' win: Genuine skill or just Travis Hunter letting him have it? What's your take?

And BOOM! The Buffs’ dual threat immediately became the center of criticism for not standing up for his team. His teammates didn’t take the comment very well, forcing Shedeur to come to Hunter’s defense. Deion Sanders’ son immediately took to X to clarify, “Trav was referring to last year’s gameplay.”

It had to be the last season. In 2023, the Colorado offensive line was among the worst in the NCAA. It allowed 56 sacks, amounting to an average of 4.67 per game. But we must say that Hunter’s in the best hands with Coach Prime, and his son is always on his team. Talk about luck!
