As a soothing balm to that pain came Julian Lewis’ unfiltered confession about Shedeur Sanders. Highlighting the bond that Lewis has formed with the CU Buffs QB during his two unofficial visits to Boulder, Julian Lewis got candid about who his top-ranked QB from the NCAA is. Speaking to 247 Sports, Lewis opened up about his ranking of Shedeur. “I’ll put Shedeur at 1,” the USC commit replied when asked, making his admiration for Shedeur clear.

This confession came just two days before JuJu would land in Boulder to finally have the visit that the Buffs Nation had been eagerly awaiting for the past month. Many things are dependent on this visit, with the Colorado Buffs’ QB scenario in the years to come and Julian Lewis’s future as a college QB being the most important.

While Lewis is out there ranking Shedeur Sanders No. 1, the Buffs QB has been equally reciprocating the bond that Lewis and he share. When the news of Lewis visiting Colorado during their official period was released, Shedeur Sanders immediately commented, “Legendary,” on the post, highlighting his excitement for JuJu’s agreement. Deion Sanders and Co. are trying out each trick up their sleeve, NIL being the biggest one, to lure Julian Lewis in.

Shedeur Sanders’ NIL deal is fine bait

Lewis knows how he would instantly be exposed to a world of popularity and soaring NIL rates once he flipped to the Boulder program. The NIL deals that Shedeur Sanders flaunts are a testament to it.
