There is no better person from college football to give a pep talk than the coaching maestro, Deion Sanders. After his vacation with Shedeur and company in the Dominican Republic, it is time to learn about Coach Prime’s transformation journey. During a live interview with almost 20 participants for Pete Vargas on his YouTube channel, the Colorado Buffaloes HC brought up some interesting analogies.

To make his transformation process heard, he compared his body to a gift decorated with wrapping paper. Describing himself as “a lazy father,” Deion Sanders had a message for the public: the key to success is to take care of oneself physically, and other things will eventually fall on.

Deion Sanders had a piece of advice for all the attendees during the live session. He urged the participants to take care of themselves physically; this way, they will master their mental health and excel in whatever they do. Coach Prime then compared the physical body to a gift, and physical health is the gift wrap. “I want everybody that the last note to this chapter takes care of yourself physically. And don’t ignore your mental health. Take care of yourself physically. You said you look good. You feel good. You feel good you play good. You played good last night. Check the pay good… I’m gonna take care of this wrapping paper.”

However, Coach Prime was initially unaware of the essentiality of wrapping gifts. During Christmas, while gifting his kids, Sanders would hand them the presents directly. Eventually, he realized the importance, “I was lazy father at one point in my life. I used to buy so many Christmas gifts for my kids. I got no time to wrap it. I’m like, here you go. You know what it is… But I had to understand that something about that wrapping. Did some for me, just anticipation of it. So make sure you work on your wrapping paper.” Just back from their vacation, the Sanders family had real fun in the Caribbean.

As Deion Sanders and the others had their best time in the Dominican Republic, Shilo was unlucky. The Buffs’ safety could not make it to the Caribbean since he made a silly mistake that cost him heavily: he forgot to carry his passport. So, all that Shilo had to do was participate in the vacation using FaceTime. However, Coach Prime urged his son not to waste his time being a couch potato and instead have a sweat-off session at the facility.

Hence, physical fitness has become an indispensable part of Deion Sanders, so much so that even on his vacation, Coach Prime could not allow his physical transformation to go in vain. To add a touch of creativity for the Buffs, he arranged a physical training session in collaboration with the US Marine Corps.
