Are you serious? Deion Sanders just lost to his two-way star Travis Hunter in fishing? This defeat left Coach Prime in a tizzy as he jokingly started looking for his mom as a safe space to run to — at least Travis Hunter’s latest video on his YouTube channel says so.
Hunter, originally recognized as a dual threat in football, has now become a triple threat with his exceptional fishing skills. Guess what the final score was? It’s time for Deion to admit Hunter’s supremacy in fishing, as he had denied it before.
Coach Prime and Hunter drove to Lake Prime for fresh air from their strenuous daily regimen. Little did Deion expect his day off to come at such a cost. They hopped on a fishing boat to cruise across the lake. One after the other, Hunter caught hold of the fishies and made his fishing rod no less than a magic wand.

When the Buffs head coach was sure Hunter’s luck would not favor him, the player himself was skeptical and revealed, “I think I made a mistake. He ain’t even hooked all the way.” But voila! The wheel rotated only to reveal another big catch! Deion could not believe his eyes as Hunter hit back-to-back jackpots. And what did the Buffs HC start to do? He comically began looking for a place to hide himself and blurted out, “I want my mom.”

To add more fun to their outing, Hunter edited the YouTube video by putting his and Deion’s faces on two corners of the video, with the scores showing beside each of them. As the video neared the end, the final score flashed. Hunter:10, Deion: 3! It’s high time for the Buffs HC to accept that Hunter is the best, which he refused to do a few days back.
Deion or Hunter, who’s the better angler?
Ever since Hunter gave an open challenge to Deion, “Coach Prime wants no smoke with us,” the Buffs HC has become serious about becoming a “pro” in fishing. Lake Prime and Lake Time are the only spots to look out for Deion outside the gridiron. June 30 was no different, as he went fishing with his friends. Posting a clip on his IG account, he wrote, “Y’all call it fishing we call it catching! You know we gotta compete & HAVE FUN with everything we do. I got a boat and a trailer NOW that I can’t wait to Pull Up on y’all!”

It was the perfect opportunity for Hunter to tease his coach, and he didn’t miss it. Dropping a comment, “I still have the biggest fish out of there remember that,” he playfully reminded Deion of his fishing prowess. But Deion, never one to back down, responded, “I don’t know if that’s true.” This banter is all part of the fun and games for these two sports personalities.
But let’s not forget that all this banter and friendly rivalry is Deion and Hunter’s way of having a good time and showing respect for each other. The two-way phenom, Hunter, deep down, wants his coach to excel in fishing as well. He even gifted Coach Prime an expensive fishing gear that doesn’t tangle. We’re eagerly waiting for Deion’s fishing bucket to outweigh Hunter’s!
